Hi World,
So i went with my buddy Evan to go check out Trail of the Dead at the music box expecting radness similar to what i know and love from the 2 albums that I own and listen to on a general basis, WORLD’S APART and SO DIVIDED.
INSTEAD, what i got was a handful of songs that I havent heard yet (I think I knew the intro and first song) with a crappy light show that was probably run by the door guy of the Fonda. None the less, a great performance by a great band, but I definitely did not have the great experience that I had hoped to get myself into from a talented band who’s music I’m well versed around.

probably taken somewhere in ATX. I stole it from google images.
Pro’s: the dual drummer setup made the performance really big and epic, the guitar tone and vocals were a 4 on a 5 point scale, and the energy was on point.
Con’s: The drummer/singer guy in the band was definitely up his own ass… this dude couldn’t possibly love himself any more. The sound wasnt as full as it could have been given the lack of persons their to see the show. The crappy LD work.
Regardless, I guess I need to go scoop up the new album so I know what’s up. I didn’t even know there was one until this but I’m sure its good.
